Skyhawk Theatre Season 25-26
The 2025-2026 Season - "THE POWER OF IMAGINATION" was officially announced on May 30, 2025 and was greeted with (from what I was told) many excited cheers, groans, and tears. The Skyhawk Theatre production company will be embarking on a journey as we change our season order and our line-up this year. We are beginning with the musical and ending with a farce. We are once again bringing back the Play in a Day festival with writers, directors and performers of each class and hoping to successfully introducing an alumni class to write, direct and perform as well.

"Seussical the Musical" is a whimsical and heartwarming story that follows Horton the Elephant as he discovers and protects the tiny Whos living on a speck of dust. Horton faces ridicule and danger as he vows to safeguard the Whos and an abandoned egg, highlighting themes of friendship, loyalty, and the importance of fighting for what you believe in. The musical is a celebration of Dr. Seuss's beloved characters and stories, weaving them together in a new and exciting way

Play in
A Day
JANUARY 2026
Writers begin 4:15 pm - March 13
Performance - March 14 @ 7:00 pm
Join us as we bring the classes together in an original playwriting, directing and performance festival. A writer will have mere hours to create a one act play from an idea, genre and obstacle; then the director takes over in a race against time to ready the performance for a live audience a mere 12 hours later.
A great way to get involved in theater activities and dip your toe into the program and have a great time doing it.

Taking Steps is set in a reportedly haunted house, where a series of comedic mishaps and mistaken identities unfold as a sale of the property is threatened by various characters including a drunken Roland, a nervous solicitor Tristram, and Elizabeth who is planning to leave her husband. The play's humor is heightened by its structure, a play where all three floors of the house are visible, and the audience witnesses the characters' comical interactions as they navigate the house.
